BOCES FACULTY ASSOCIATION #2991

The Capital Region BOCES is located in Albany, New York and serves Schenectady, Albany, Schoharie and Saratoga counties.

The Capital Region BOCES Faculty Association local 2991, is an "umbrella" local whose membership consists of three "Chapters". These Chapters are:

Special Education Chapter / CTE Teacher Chapter

Teaching Assistant / Educational Assistant Chapter

Service Chapter

We are affiliated state wide with NYSUT (New York State United Teachers) and nationally with AFT (American Federation of Teachers) and AFL/CIO. Our members are all employed by the Capital Region BOCES, and four work divisions. These divisions are:
