The Capital Region BOCES Faculty Association local #2991, is an “umbrella” local whose membership consist of three "Chapters". These Chapters are:
Special Education / CTE Teacher Chapter
Teaching Assistant / Educational Assistant Chapter
Service Unit Chapter
We are affiliated state-wide with NYSUT (New York State United Teachers) and nationally with AFT (American Federation of Teachers) and AFL-CIO. Our members are all employed by the Capital Region BOCES, and four work divisions. These divisions are:
